FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How does PaddockPass work?

You pay once a month. We send you three deliveries of curated motorsport merch across that month, one per week. It keeps things arriving in rhythm with the racing season rather than landing in one big box and then going quiet.

Why three weeks and not four?

Because we'd rather send three deliveries worth opening than four with filler in them. The spare week also gives us room to source properly.

How much does it cost?

$54.99 a month. All three drops included. Shipping included.

That's the whole price. One charge on the 1st, three deliveries across the month, nothing added at checkout.

To put that in context: a single officially licensed cap or tee routinely runs $40 to $60 on its own. For $54.99 you get three separate deliveries covering apparel you'd genuinely wear, gear you'd actually use, something worth opening on race morning, and a redeemable motorsport experience, curated by people who watch every session.

No per-drop fees, no shipping charges stacked on top, no premium tier you need to be on for the good stuff.

When am I billed, and when do drops arrive?

Simple and the same every month.

You're billed $54.99 on the 1st of the month. One payment covers all three drops.

Then a drop arrives each week for the first three weeks:

  • Week 1 — your first drop of the month
  • Week 2 — your second
  • Week 3 — your third
  • Week 4 — nothing arrives. We're sourcing next month's drops.

Same date, same rhythm, no guessing.

I'm joining mid-month. When does mine start?

You join for the month ahead, not the one you're in.

Sign up any time in September and you'll receive October's PaddockPass.

  • Nothing arrives immediately.
  • You're charged on October 1st.
  • Your first drop lands in week 1 of October, then weeks 2 and 3.

It works this way because each month is sourced and packed in advance. Joining on the 20th doesn't mean you've missed anything, it means you're in the queue for a month that's still being built, rather than getting the leftovers of one already halfway shipped.

How do the experience items work?

An Experience drop is a redeemable motorsport experience, not a physical item. You get a voucher or code, and you book it when it suits you.

Depending on the drop, that might be:

  • A simulator session on a professional rig
  • A karting session at a partner circuit
  • Event or track day access
  • Race weekend access, occasionally, in select drops

How to redeem:

  1. Your drop contains a card with a unique code and a booking link.
  2. Go to the link and enter your code.
  3. Choose your venue and a date that works for you.
  4. Turn up and drive.

Worth knowing:

  • Codes are valid for [X] months from the date your drop ships, so there's no rush to book.
  • Experiences are redeemable at partner venues in [list your covered regions]. If there's no venue near you, [say what happens instead].
  • Codes are single-use and tied to your membership, though you're welcome to gift one.
  • Availability at any given venue is first come, first served, so book early for busy weekends.

This is the category we care most about. Apparel wears out and coffee gets drunk, but the first time you get a proper simulator lap time in your head, it stays there.

[Fill in validity period, covered regions, named partners, and the fallback for customers outside your coverage.]

What does shipping cost, and how long does it take?

Shipping is free. It's already in the $54.99. Nothing is added at checkout and there's nothing extra to pay when each drop arrives.

Drops ship directly from the vendors we source from, not from a central warehouse.

That's deliberate. Working direct with small apparel makers, coffee roasters, and automotive brands is how we get things worth having instead of bulk-bought filler. The trade-off is that your drops don't all leave from the same place.

What that means in practice:

  • Arrival dates can shift by a day or two either side of the expected week, depending on which vendor a given drop comes from.
  • International deliveries can run up to three days beyond the estimate, with customs being the usual reason.
  • Your three drops in a month may well arrive from three different origins, so don't be surprised if the packaging differs.

We'd rather be straight with you about a day or two of variance than promise a fixed date we can't control. Your drop is coming, it may just land Tuesday instead of Monday.

[Add the countries or regions you ship to. Note: your store is currently set up to ship to the United States only, so either add more countries or remove the international line above.]

We do not offer refunds.

Once you've been billed on the 1st, that month is sourced, packed, and on its way. We can't refund it, and we can't accept returns because you'd prefer different items.

We're upfront about this because the mystery is the whole point. You're buying curation, and you won't know exactly what's coming until it lands. If that's not for you, this isn't the right product, and we'd rather you knew that now than felt caught out later.

What you can do instead:

  • Skip or pause before the cutoff and you won't be charged at all.
  • Cancel before the cutoff and nothing further is billed.

If a refund is ever agreed

In the rare case we agree to a refund, or where one is required of us, it is conditional on the merch coming back first.

  • Every item from that month must be returned. Not some of it. All of it, including anything already opened or used, and any experience vouchers or codes, whether or not they've been redeemed.
  • Nothing is refunded until we've received and checked the full return. Partial returns are not refunded, and we can't process anything against items still in your possession.
  • Return shipping is your responsibility unless the items were damaged or faulty.
  • Once everything's back and checked, we process the refund within [X] business days to your original payment method.

Put simply: everything comes back before money goes out.

Damaged or faulty items are a different matter. If something arrives broken, missing, or not working, contact us within [X] days and we'll replace it. That's not a refund policy, that's just doing the job properly.

[Have someone check this against consumer law where you sell. In many places, including parts of the US, the UK, and the EU, buyers keep statutory rights to a remedy for faulty goods regardless of what a policy says, and some regions require a cooling-off period on subscriptions.]

Can I skip or pause a month?

Yes. Life gets busy, the season has gaps, and we'd rather you pause than cancel.

You can skip an upcoming month or pause your membership from your account at any time, as long as you do it at least [7] days before the 1st, so by roughly the 24th of the month before.

Here's why there's a cutoff: once that window closes, your month is already being picked, packed, and booked in with our suppliers. At that point we can't pull it back without the merch going to waste.

  • Skip before the cutoff — you won't be charged on the 1st, nothing ships, and your membership picks up again the following month automatically.
  • Pause before the cutoff — billing stops until you restart. Your place and any founding member pricing stay exactly as they are.
  • After the cutoff — that month goes ahead as normal, and your skip or pause applies from the next one instead.

There's no limit on how often you can skip, and no penalty for pausing. You'll get an email reminder before the cutoff each month so it never sneaks up on you.

How do I cancel?

From your account, in about thirty seconds. No email, no phone call, no retention chat, no hoops.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your PaddockPass account.
  2. Go to Subscriptions.
  3. Select your PaddockPass membership.
  4. Choose Cancel subscription.
  5. Confirm. You'll get an email receipt straight away.

What happens next:

  • Cancel at least [7] days before the 1st and you won't be billed again. Nothing further ships.
  • Cancel after that cutoff and your next month has already been packed, so it goes ahead and arrives as normal. Nothing is billed after that.
  • Anything you've already paid for still arrives, and is not refundable.

If you'd rather not lose your spot, pausing keeps your membership and any founding member pricing exactly where they are. Same steps, choose Pause instead of Cancel.

Stuck, or can't see the option? Email us and we'll cancel it for you the same day. We'd genuinely rather you leave easily and come back later than feel trapped.

[Verify these steps against Seal Subscriptions once your customer portal is configured, the menu names may differ.]

What's actually in a drop?

Across the month, everything falls into four categories: something to wear, something to use, something to taste, and access to an experience. Individual weeks vary, which is part of the fun.

Is this a mystery box?

Not in the way that word usually means. There's no gamble and nothing to chase. Everything is curated to be worth what you paid on contents alone. The specific items are the surprise, not whether you got a good one.

Do some drops contain something extra?

Yes. A small number include premium racing gear, limited apparel, signed merchandise, or race weekend packages. These are a bonus, never the reason to join.

Which racing series do you cover?

We're launching with open-wheel racing. Stock car, IndyCar, rally, electric, endurance, and GT are all planned. Join the list and you'll hear first.
